Liftlore (Folklore)

Liftlore (Folklore) is an exhibition by Tim Meakins which satirically explores the folklore allegories surrounding one of the world’s most famous prehistoric sites, Stonehenge. Liftlore playfully re-tells the mythical legends of Merlin and the giants, following the timeline of Stonehenge creation, with tongue in cheek reflections on current day gym-lore (fitness culture). This project has been supported by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
