Signal The Moment I Disconnect explores the intersection of technology and human connection to the natural world. The exhibition navigates this concept through reimagined symbols of nature and humanity, while the contrasting use of materials and fabrication methods that signal the presence of technology. As an artist working primarily with digital tools, Meakins explores the implications of creating within virtual spaces.  This disconnection from traditional methods of creation serves as a reflection of a broader loss of intimacy with the natural world, one that continues to evolve as technology reshapes how we interact with our environment.
